Music is Good for the Mind!

Music is an important art that has been practiced as long as humans have walked the earth. When people were first rubbing two sticks together to make fire, they were using the same two sticks to make a beat.

Most elementary schools teach music in some form. If they do not, then they are doing a disservice to the children. It’s important for a kid’s developing brain to experience the sounds, frequencies, and rhythm of music. Whether they go on to practice music during their life or not does not matter. It’s the exposure to the possibility and potential of music that’s important.

Many adults will admit that they regret not learning to play an instrument early in life while the mind is still quick to learn. Music can be learned at any age, but the younger a person is when they start, the more years they will have to practice.

Melodies bring people together in more ways than any other art form. Combining a catchy tune with an uplifting dance makes people happy and more energetic. Adding in an appealing visual component also enhances the harmonic experience.

A lot of people say that music is the most pure expression of the soul, so the enjoyment of it goes beyond body and mind. Listening to music can elevate the mood while making music can enhance the mind.

Dan Ashley and his band are masters of music. They want to make the world a better place by bringing more music to more people.
